PSA Examples

Key Points: My PSA will focus on the statistics of homelessness, and give specific information so people will have a more well-informed idea of what is happening. Along with statistics on the homeless I will give them on the unemployed, as both will be affected by my project.

-With this PSA, I liked its simplicity, as well as its to-the-point information. I hope to keep my PSA knowledgeable, but not too expansive.

-I liked the narrating in this video, although I don't know whether or not I could use such a tool for my PSA. One part of this video which I might include in mine, however, is the catch-phrase.

-This video showed (albeit dramatized) situations of homelessness and unemployment, which were elaborated on by a narrator. The music was quite fitting, as well. I probably wouldn't have enough people to make a video with these situations, but I should have music in the background of mine, and possibly a narrator (although I suspect not).

Audio/Visuals: If I can obtain the manpower, I would like to be able to film dramatized homeless situations. If this is not the case, then I will most likely use still photos and PowerPoint slides (as done in the first PSA listed). As far as sound, I will try to find a piece of music which befits the mood of the video (serious and somewhat depressing). I don't intend to have a narrator throughout the video, but I may have a speaker or someone who explains the commercial towards the end. We will see.
